Terms of Service
Last updated: August 23, 2026
These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of SnapLog (the “Service”). By creating an account or using the Service, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.
The service
SnapLog is a jobsite photo-documentation tool that lets you capture, seal, organize, and share photos with location and timestamp metadata. We may add, change, or remove features over time.
Your account
- You must provide accurate information and are responsible for keeping your login credentials secure.
- You are responsible for activity under your account and for the team members and clients you invite.
- You must be at least 18 years old and able to enter into a binding agreement.
Acceptable use
You agree not to:
- Use the Service for anything unlawful, or to upload content you don’t have the right to use.
- Attempt to disrupt, reverse-engineer, or gain unauthorized access to the Service or its data.
- Misrepresent the origin, time, or place of a photo, or otherwise use the Service to deceive.
Your content
You retain ownership of the photos and content you upload. You grant SnapLog a limited license to store, process, and display that content solely to operate and provide the Service to you and the people you share jobs with. You are responsible for the content you capture and share, and for having any necessary permission to photograph a site.
Subscriptions, billing, and refunds
- SnapLog is offered on a per-seat subscription. Every paid seat includes all features; only owners and team members count as seats — clients are free.
- Paid plans may begin with a free trial. After the trial, unless canceled, the subscription renews automatically for the applicable period.
- Payments are processed by Stripe. Adding or removing team members adjusts your bill, prorated automatically.
- You can cancel at any time from your billing settings; cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period.
- Except where required by law, payments are non-refundable.
Chain-of-custody and documentation disclaimer
SnapLog records a cryptographic hash, timestamp, and location for photos to help attest their integrity, time, and place of capture. These features do not attest to the cause of any depicted condition, and SnapLog does not provide legal, engineering, or expert opinions. You are responsible for how documentation is used or presented.
Disclaimers
The Service is provided “as is” and “as available,” without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including fitness for a particular purpose and non-infringement. We do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that data will never be lost.
Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, SnapLog and its providers will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for lost profits or data. Our total liability for any claim relating to the Service will not exceed the amount you paid us in the twelve months before the claim.
Termination
You may stop using the Service and delete your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate access if you violate these Terms or use the Service in a way that could harm others or us. You can export or download your photos before deleting your account.
Changes to these terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be reflected by the “Last updated” date above. Continued use of the Service after changes take effect means you accept the updated Terms.
